How to look up an article

Clicking the link next to the reference will bring you to PubMed, where you can find the abstract and sometimes the full article. If you want to know more about the same topic, look at the articles that show in the right column of the PubMed site.

Google

Google Scholar is a good general/popular search web site for scientific articles.

PubMed

PubMed is a free search engine for accessing the MEDLINE database of citations and abstracts of biomedical research articles. The core subject is medicine, and PubMed covers fields related to medicine and also nutrition. It is offered by the United States National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. Go to their web site and find any scientific article on any topic you'd like. But don't forget, not all these articles are "true". Nutrition is a rapidly changing field, and some authors are associated with the food industry. >> Read more about Nutrition Science or Media
